Here goes...
A mechanical engineer by profession, fresh from university I worked in a chemical plant as trainee engineer and after sometime I took on a more managerial position. Nevertheless, my duties were always linked to the maintenance aspect of the chemical plant. Later on I also took on engineering projects that were less maintenance related and more process related.
After almost four years in a field job I opted for a career change with a different kind of challenge. I became a lecturer! I thought and lectured mainly Thermodynamics, Engineering Mechanics and Heat Transfer.
As a lecturer I prepared notes for my students which I eventually placed in a blog. The blog was so that so I did have to print out the notes before the lectures but anyhow, in the matter of preparing notes, I realized my students prefer notes that are less wordy and more to the point and with more diagrammatic representations.
I hope you find my notes useful!
